PhatWare’s WritePad 7.0 redesigned for iOS 7 and promises faster handwriting recognition to note-takers
WritePad speeds up and simplifies note-taking in a user’s own handwriting on an iPad or iPhone
Spokane, WA - October 29, 2013 - PhatWare announces WritePad 7.0, the iOS 7 optimized version of the popular note-taking and handwriting recognition software for iPads and iPhones. WritePad 7.0 presents an iOS 7 style interface while still supporting iOS 6, improves note-taking experience, includes all supported languages with the app price, and features significantly reduced application size.
WritePad 7.0 was designed to deliver considerably faster note-taking by offering multiple suggestions for words or phrases as notes are input in the user’s own handwriting. As a user writes, alternative recognition results and word completions are presented in a scrollable suggestion bar next to the text, allowing a user to select an alternative result if the initial translation of the handwriting was incorrect.
To further speed-up and simplify the process of taking notes on an iPhone or iPad in a user’s own handwriting, WritePad 7.0 now features auto-complete for single words. This feature will enable users to move more quickly from one word to the next.
While adding more features, WritePad also delivers more value. The app now comes with all supported languages included, rather than requiring an in-app purchase to obtain additional languages. WritePad’s footprint has also been reduced by 30%, providing more features with less space requirements.
About WritePad WritePad, an advanced note-taker for iOS, converts practically any handwriting into computer text. Notes created with WritePad can be sent via email or SMS, tweeted, saved, posted on a Facebook wall, printed, exported as PDF, translated to other languages, synchronized with major computing cloud services, and exchanged directly between two or more iOS devices. WritePad also features integration with the iPhone’s or iPad’s Events, Contacts, Maps, and other apps.
With WritePad, users can:
- Create and edit text documents using the advanced handwriting recognition engine or iPad keyboard for text entry in landscape or portrait mode.
